I work closely with couples as a 'neutral' during this devastating time in their lives. Working with clients individually as and when necessary. I have personal experience of the isolating pain of a protracted and acrimonious divorce. I have been trained to work cohesively with lawyers and clients through the collaborative divorce process. I support Resolution's initiative to offer advice on parenting during and after parting.

The aim is to:
Provide a safe place to discuss all issues surrounding separation and/or divorce both with the couple and individually. Explore the loss of the family unit - their new role - the best way to move forward. The dynamics of sharing households with step children their needs - the loss of family's historic lifestyle. To empower and facilitate you, the client, to feel a sense of control over the here and now and face the future with optimism. I am dedicated to assist couples through this wretched stage of their relationship, to help them look at the long term picture and behave with dignity.

Qualified individual - relationship counsellor - divorce coach Harriette Smart MBACP, runs support groups to help you manage the anxieties and stresses caused by separation.
Whilst going through the loops of her own painful and protracted divorce process she recognised a gaping need for support during this overwhelming and isolating experience.
